Every summer, Athens Christian Church puts all of our heads together and welcomes the community to Vacation Bible School, our congregation’s signature community outreach.  Classes are available for kids starting at age three (potty-trained, please) all the way up to high school, and each year the teachers, staff, and director lead kids through a five-night sequence of Bible stories, Bible-themed lessons, age-appropriate craft and outdoor recreation activities, music, food, fun, and wacky tacky clothing (you’ll just have to show up and see that one for yourself) that keeps people in our community coming back for year after year.

ACC provides this service to our community free of charge, and an experienced team of teachers and support staff make sure that your children will have a wonderful experience singing about and learning about Jesus.  Our drop-off and check-in policies ensure that our new friends arrive and depart each night safely and with the right people.  Our snack team keeps a detailed list of all the children’s special needs, food allergies, and any other concerns so that the kids can enjoy a refreshment break that’s just right to get the kids ready to launch into the second half of each evening.  And our security dudes make sure that everyone’s accounted for and in the right places to get the most out of each session.
